Shifnal GC's membership year runs from 1st February to 30th January.

For new members the annual subscription is calculated pro-rata according to their joining date. The Secretary can advise of terms for new members in respect of paying the joining fee and interest free loan.

Members are invoiced in January for subscription fees due for the forthcoming year and payment is due on the 1st February. Arrangements are available for members wishing to pay their subscription by monthly direct debit - contact the Secretary for details.

Fee Categories

Annual Subscription	Payable at start of year (1st Feb), or pro-rata at time of entry. Non-refundable, except at Club’s discretion.
Annual Club House Levy	Payable at start of year (1 Feb) or at time of joining. Used to pay for meals and drinks in the club house. Any amount unused at year end is forfeited.
Affiliation	Indicated categories are subject to an additional annual English Golf Union (EGU) or Ladies' Golf Union (LGU) subscription. (Approximately £10-15; please refer to Secretary for details).
Joining Fee	One-off fee, payable at time of joining. Non-refundable.
Interest Free Loan	One-off fee, payable at time of joining. Refundable on leaving the club. (Non-interest bearing).

* Retired membership is available to gents of 65 or over and ladies of 60 or over who have been full playing members for not less than 15 years continuously. Members joining after 31 Jan 1998 are not entitled to this class of membership.

** County membership is available to fully paid-up members of other golf clubs residing outside a 25 mile radius of Shifnal golf club. Country members may not enter for club trophies and are not entitled to vote at club meetings or stand as an officer of the club.
